After rising from the ashes of Lane Walker Ltd, Crosthwaite Commercial celebrated their first year of trading on 1st July. An extremely busy but successful year has seen Crosthwaite Commercial boards spring up across the city on a wide range of office, industrial, retail and investment properties.
Notable successes during the first year include the letting of the 61,500 sq ft HeadQuarters office building to Capita and the subsequent sale of the investment to Ediston Opportunity Fund.
Crosthwaite Commercial are now building on this successful start and with the help of our excellent client base, we hope to continue this success throughout this second year.

Crosthwaite Commercial 3rd in Sheffield League Table

Crosthwaite Commercial, in their first year of trading, have achieved 3rd place in the Estates Gazette's Sheffield agents league table, behind Knight Frank and BNP Paribas Real Estate, but in front of Lambert Smith Hampton, CB Richard Ellis and Savills. Martin Crosthwaite commented "This 3rd place came as a very pleasant surprise, particularly as we are coming up to the end of our first year. This table shows there is room in the city for small independant practices as well as the large multi-national agencies and I can only hope we can build on this excellent start and continue to make our mark on the Sheffield Property Market".

After 12 years as a Consultant at Lane Walker and before that, 22 years working for J Trevor & Sons in London and Sheffield, Martin Crosthwaite has formed Crosthwaite Commercial. The practice will continue to work for a wide range of existing clients, all of whom have pledged their support following the Liquidation of Lane Walker, as well as expanding with many new companies and individuals already seeking assistance.

Crosthwaite Commercial will concentrate on the commercial property market primarily  in the South Yorkshire and East Midlands region, dealing with disposals, acquisitions, rent reviews/lease renewals and valuations, as well as providing investment and development advice.

The aim is to create an independant professional practice concentrating on shops, offices and industrial premises, building strong relationships with clients and providing specialist and constructive advice on all aspects of commercial property.
